After 16 years of scientific research and after extensive pre-clinical and clinical trials, at the end of 2010 in Ukraine, for the first time in the world, the products “Concentrated Hydrated Fullerene C60 Solutions” (C60FWS) and high-purity fullerene C60 were approved by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine as components of food products, cosmetics and biotechnology, and “Water with Hydrated Fullerene C60” was approved as a multifunctional food additive, which, with its complete harmlessness, has a unique bubbled therapeutic and prophylactic properties

For a long time, carbon was known in the form of diamond and graphite. Fullerene C60 is a new form of carbon discovered in 1985. This discovery was the beginning of the era of nanotechnology and was awarded the Nobel Prize. If a new carbon molecule is increased 200 million times, it will be very similar to a soccer ball. It is noteworthy that the carbon molecules were first obtained in the laboratory, and then found on Earth and in the Cosmos.
It is generally accepted that, like graphite and diamond, fullerene does not dissolve in water. Nevertheless, the unique technology for the dissolution of C60 carbon molecules in water was first developed in the world by scientists of the Institute in 1994. For eighteen years, studies of aqueous solutions of hydrated fullerene C60 in leading scientific centers of France, the USA, Germany, Hungary, Russia, Ukraine and Turkey have been carried out. The results were amazing. Water with carbon molecules is very strong, and only positively, influenced all life. The impression was that fullerene water “knew what a healthy organism should be like” and tried to bring all the pathological changes to the norm.
The antioxidant activity of fullerene water turned out to be 100-1000 times higher than that of typical antioxidants, radically differing in the mechanism of action. In the water “coat” of the hydrated fullerene C60, the conditions for mutual self-destruction of free radicals and their self-neutralization are ensured. Unlike typical antioxidants, which are used to neutralize free radicals and “work” until they are exhausted, fullerenes in fullerene water are not consumed.
